Looking forward to being part of the “Designing for Wellness” event hosted by Ryerson the 13th & 14th of September. The two day event will bring together leading faculty, staff, and industry members to explain the strategic impacts of applying a working methodology and integrated approach to wellness, supporting students, staff and the external community on campus.
Featuring Keynote Presentations will be Dr. Whitney Austin Grey – Sr. Vice President of Delos, “Designing Healthy Buildings”
Day 2 – Louisa Jewell – MAPP, “The 6 Pillars of Well-being”
As a chosen panelist for one of the discussion topics identified as Intergenerational Wellness – regarding youth and elder care. I bring design and planning experience for both retirement living and long term care, juxtaposed with Christa Leeder, Ryerson’s Manager of their Early Learning Centre, Catherine Hancharek, Business Development Leader, for Toronto Rehab, Joanne Dellair, Aboriginal Leader, and Rebeka Churchyard from The Neighbourhood group. As a panel we should provide an interesting mix of perspectives for integrated Wellness within our community.
You can go on the Eventbrite website to see the location, full schedule of events and purchase tickets.
