Westparks+associates was awarded this assignment with this primary goal: create an inspiring work environment for a high profile international executive search firm at their dynamic new address.

On behalf of our client, we worked with the developer and architect, establishing the critical groundwork necessary to incorporate aesthetics with functionality. Our client had purchased this office space but was also downsizing to an efficient 3,800 sf. This factor alone required reinterpreting private office environment in favour of functional relationships. We successfully incorporated all of the 28 staff and partner requirements, at the same time encouraging movement, accessing daylight, and providing a clean interior aesthetic.

Upon entering the office you are struck with a modern and minimalist space. At the same time, there is a calming effect which mitigates the sometimes frantic pace of business. In order to achieve this, we chose simple materials with natural colour to assimilate stone, water, and sky into the interior space. It all works to allow a sense of expansiveness to the surrounding vistas with no impression of constraint. We achieved our primary goal: to provide a friendly and flexible environment that enhances the employee experience and provides an impactful setting for a positive client experience.
